After 3 weeks Santiago I start to know my way around a little bit. For the apartment I need to buy a few items and so I wonder around and find many different shops
This is the street where we live. It is so much more pleasant and peaceful than in São Paulo; no double gates around the buildings, less worries about getting mobbed and well maintained sidewalks.

After a 10 minutes walk I arrive at a business centre where
many small street vendors try to earn a living

And suddenly this complex is in front of you

with this small haberdashery shop in the basement

It seams that there is a street in the city centre of Santiago where fabrics are sold by the kilo and
yarns and threads are cheaper... to be continued! ;)

Saludos, Hilde

  1. It didn't take you very long to find the fabric and haberdashery shops, did it? Happy times ;)!!!

  2. smullen!!
