Pies on the table

Slowly there are more pies coming out of my hands. Most quilters make this recipe with an off white background, but I want it to be green! ;) I started out with mainly blue coloured slices, but decided to add some spices to make it a bit more tasty. Because that's what we need to do ones in a while: spice it up!

Last week I was a bit depressed because of the bad situation with my back. I went to see a chiropractor and fortunately he was able to manipulate my spine a bit and slowly there is some improvement, but I still have to be careful. Maybe it is better that nobody has rung the doorbell for a workshop so far. There is interest, but no follow up. We will see, but the days are very quiet. Just have to be patient till I can run around again as I used to do. So, make some more pies!!!

  2. The pies look great! Did you find it easy to applique them on? I'm also making a few for a hexagon quilt. I want to put one pie in the center where four blocks meet (there's no sashing). I have only made the pies, buy haven't appliqued them on and was wondering if that's difficult as there's are a lot of seams.
I hope your back will improve more daily and then the knocking on the door will begin. Have a good weekend.
